The YB series is developed for the beverage and food industry, offering a new, mineral-free depth filtration system suitable for a wide range of applications. This includes coarse filtration, fine filtration, super fine filtration, and sterile filtration. The filter paper sheet exhibits a high physical adsorption capacity, and its pore sizes can be fine enough to retain bacteria, thereby producing a sterile liquid. During the filtration process, solid particles are slowed down and eventually retained by the tortuous path inside the filter sheet and by electrokinetic interactions. This unique mechanism enables a long lifetime of the filter until plugging occurs. All materials used are food and pharmacy-grade and FDA approved.

The products can tolerate ethanol, isopropanol, glycerine, weak acids, weak bases, etc.

Can withstand heat sterilization at 121 degrees Celsius.
